Sum of Forty Shillings for and towards the Expenses
Incident to, or attending the lying-in of the said
Mary Stanly and also do and shall pay or cause to
Be paid unto the above named Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint John
Under the Castle of Lewes and their successors for the
Time being the said further sum of One Shilling and
Sixpence weekly and every week for every such child
Or Children of which the said Mary Stanly is now
Pregnant and shall be delivered of, for and towards
The maintenance of such Child or Children, so long as the
Same shall remain chargeable to the said Parish.
Then this Obligation to be void and of none effect
Or else to be and remain in full Force and Virtue.
