Thomas’s brother Richard was born in August 1883 later married and in August 1807 his son Augustus was born., who married Matilda Walpole at Lewes on 4th January 1836. On 1st July 1837 they sailed from Plymouth on the Ardromache, which docked at Sydney on 31st October 1837. It may be that they were accompanied by Matilda’s parents as the Rev J and Mrs Walpole also appear on the passenger list.
Enroute their first child was born and they produced a further 6 children in Australia. This is the first traced immigration to Australian of a Hollebone and from them a large family group now reside in New South Wales
