On the same date of his second marriage Thomas’s son Thomas was baptised. I have checked the original Parish Register at East Sussex Record Office  and this shows;  21 December 1823 Hailsham Parish Church Thomas Hollebone son of Thomas and Mary Hollebone, Taylor (sic).

If this is correct it must be that Thomas was born before Mary Vine’s death in 1818, it may be that she died in child birth.. However on Census returns of  1841 - 1861 the age shown indicates him to be born 1823/24

Thomas became a Master Tailor and Postmaster of Hailsham. I have established that he took on and apprentice a copy of which is shown below;
